Online Shopping is Convenient with Divatress

“Sponsored post. All opinions are mine.”

Happy Monday everyone! I guess, it is time to do some online shopping. But before I begin with the main topic let me share this happening at work. Last week, a customer did a shopping spree! Can you imagine almost a hundred of packages with just a span of almost two months? Not only that, some packages contain more around 8 articles with a worth of over $500.00 each package. I was telling my co-worker, wow, how I wish I can go shopping like that! I believed that customer is a shopaholic!

Back to the main topic. Are you looking for beauty products and wigs at the moment? Have you already find the store to shop for such products? If not, let me introduce Divatress. It is an online store that sells thousands of wigs, hair care and beauty

The Story of ONIONS! I had never heard this!!!

As far as I remember,  I already read this story about ONIONS. How  about you? I found it again in my friend's facebook wall.  The Green Thumb would love to  share it to the  readers of this blog. Whether this is true or not, it is still worth to read.

PLEASE READ TO THE END: IMPORTANT

In 1919 when the flu killed 40 million people there was this Doctor that visited the many farmers to see if he could help them combat the flu... Many of the farmers and their families had contracted it and many died.

The doctor came upon this one farmer and to his surprise, everyone was very healthy. When the doctor asked what the farmer was doing that was different the wife replied that she had placed an unpeeled onion in a dish in the rooms of the home, (probably only two rooms back then). The doctor couldn't believe it and asked if he could have one of the onions and place it under the microscope. She gave him one and when he did this, he did find the flu virus in the onion. It obviously absorbed the bacteria, therefore, keeping the family healthy.

The Green Thumb Visiting a Flower Garden

Hello everyone! Wow, another week is finally here! February is  quite a not a boring month. There are a lot of things to do especially at home. My days are always busy inspite staying at home all the time.  I wish spring season is around the corner because I am already quite excited to see the tulips in our garden. It is not a long wait anymore because in a month or two,  I will surely be seeing my flowers  in our garden.

Varieties of orchids in the garden center.
This is only one good thing because when I really get  bored, which is  seldom to happen, I always look at the flowers in  my photo albums. If not, I also drive to the nearest garden center. Sometimes, I bring home flowers with me but most of the time, I don't really buy one. Our home is already full of  plants and decors. Every window has  plants and decors on it.  Except when it is spring  or summer,  I cannot say no to buying flowers.

Lovely bromeliads at the garden center. One of the flowers that I love.
One things I love doing when going to a garden center is to take photographs of the different flowers inside. I am glad that even the saleslady or salesman who caught me taking pictures would just say nothing. I am always happy coming home when I am done visiting a garden center.

The Colors of Autumn

Autumn? Oh yes, it is still autumn season in Europe! Others call  it fall season. It is probably because most leaves are falling from the trees during this time.

What do you observe during autumn?
-The weather is getting colder.
-The sky is grey and dark sometimes.
-The day is shorter.
- The night is longer.
- The trees around are turning its color from green to yellow, golden brown, red, orange, pink and so on and so forth.

What I do during autumn?
-I always love to eat when it is cold. Not really good for me..lolz!
-I don't want to go out unless needed like running errands or go grocery shopping.
-I still go for a walk sometimes when it is not raining.
-I have more time to go online and do blogging. I simply love to blog.
-I always miss the tropical weather in my home country. I truly miss the blue sky, blue sea and the sunset and of course my family, most of all!

I still see the beauty of autumn despite being cold and grey. Cheers everyone! This world is so beautiful!

The road where I always drive.
I took a stop when I saw this falling colorful leaves. I love it!
In the neighborhood  somewhere in Bavaria, Germany  as we had a walk  during a beautiful autumn day.

The Beautiful Garden in Birkhill Castle, Scotland

I was already thinking some months ago to include posting in this blog images of the royal gardens that I visited here in Europe. It also means that I will be posting images of castles and palaces where these royal gardens are located. Not only you will see here the beauty of nature, but you will also experience visiting some scenic parts of the world starting today. How would you like to spend your vacation in a castle with a beautiful garden? Birkhill Castle is a luxury Scottish castle located in the historic St Andrew’s, Fife, Scotland. It is available for private groups, corporate events, sporting breaks, weddings and other activities.

Spending any of your Scotland breaks and holidays can be a very memorable and interesting experience. At Birkhill castle, you will easily feel at home because of its friendly atmosphere. Their facilities include a heated 40 feet swimming pool, tennis court, play equipment, billiard room and a lot more. There are some activities that are also located nearby like spending a day at st andrews golf break. Fishing, sailing, horse riding are only few activities in the area. What I loved most at Birkhill Castle is the 2.5 acres walled garden which has a traditional Scottish Victorian style. Don't also forget that Edinburgh, Scotland's capital is almost an hour drive from this castle. What a lovely place to spend a holiday here!

Sunday

Happy Holidays Everyone!

It is the 4th Sunday of Advent today.
The waiting is almost over and Christmas will be  here.
Let me greet everyone
a Merry  Christmas
and  a bountiful New Year 2013!
All the best in this holiday season..
God bless us all!

"I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys." ~Charles Dickens

Thursday

More Christmas Decors

Before I put up my Christmas tree, I decided to buy new sets of  balls to  hang on it. I decided to put shades of gold, red and also white and silver colours.

I also put up our old  little  Christmas tree in our patio. Christmas season always reminds me of home but I have to accept the fact that I can also celebrate it  with family and friends in  second home here in Europe.

For next year's  holiday season, I would love to decorate more  because I bought some more  Christmas balls that are on sale. What a really great deal we had yesterday.

Happy holidays to all!

Christmas Tree is Up!

Hello December!  I can already  feel  the spirit of the  holiday season. This morning when I was taking my teatime, I heard  some Christmas songs played over the radio.  Oh yes, I still listen to the radio everyday especially when I am cooking in our kitchen.

And finally, after some days and weeks of busyness,  our Christmas tree is finally up!  Last month was really a busy month. With all the home improvements that we  are doing from time to time,  our little home will be a more comfortable place to live in.

After  the renovation of our bathroom, I started to put- up  our Christmas tree. This time, I just hung red, gold and white Christmas balls. It is a simply tree but I am happy to always see it everyday before Christmas days comes.  I always miss home during Christmas. There is the best  place to celebrate it.

Her eis my simply Christmas tree this year! Happy Holidays!
