Snow is Slowly Melting

Hello February! Goodbye January! I hope you are having a good start of February. So far, I have nothing to complain. I just hope that this month will be a better month especially for a dear loveone.

Anyway, let me share these images taken from last week. These are winter snapshots nearby. The first image was taken during our walk last Friday. The second one was taken as we drove to the nearby town for hubby's appointment to the doctor.

I love the snow in winter but I guess we already had that much last December. I can't wait till the next spring is coming.

the snow is slowly melting.. It seems that there is a lake forming in here. We had some flooding in the nearby towns and villages two weeks ago especially those who live near the rivers.

Nature's Beauty and Skywatching in Hohenfels

These are images taken around two years ago. We had a walk that summer time in this place and it was a very wonderful experience seeing nature around.

dried hays were made ready for the winter. These are the food for the animals during winter season. Not really a lot of work for the farmers because they are using farm equipments to roll these.

The Pink Lily and the Scenery

It's been a long time since I did not posted about my favorite memes. Life is sometimes so busy. From now on, I will be joining these beautiful memes again. Here is my first entry for this year.

Below is a Lily flower taken from our garden last summer 2010.

Lilium is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants growing from bulbs. Most species are native to the temperate northern hemisphere. They comprise a genus of about 110 species in the lily family (Liliaceae).

Beautiful Tulips from Our Garden

A lot of tulips from our garden is still blooming. Some are gone now but some are still in full bloom. Others are still on the process of blooming. I hope I am not quite complicated here. I am just happy since few weeks ago after seeing a lot of tulips blooming in our garden. If I could only wish that they will bloom the whole year but I guess only a miracle could do it. We have more varieties and colors this year than the past years. We planted more last year during Fall time and now they are here spreading beauty to our garden. It is a nice feeling seeing them again. Our hearts are dancing everytime we take a look at them.

The word tulip, which earlier appeared in English in forms such as tulipa or tulipant, entered the language by way of French tulipe and its obsolete form tulipan or by way of Modern Latin tulīpa, from Ottoman Turkish tülbend ("muslin" or "gauze"), and is ultimately derived from the Persian language dulband ("turban"). (The English word turban, first recorded in English in the 16th century, is a cognate.)

We live in a small town which is located in a big valley. This was the photo I took as I went walking yesterday. See the very beautiful green surroundings around!! This so lovely...a very nice place to live-in!!

Up in The Sky

Oh yeah, I took this photo while boarding Delta Airways from Atlanta, Georgia to Munich, Germany..that was quite a long trip but a pleasant one.. I enjoyed watching the scenery as our plane was going up up up in the sky!!!
